Today was the day to clean out the garden. Pulled the carrots and beets . I plan to pickle the carrots and beets. Picked what was left of the peppers. The peppers were very poor this year along with the tomatoes. Just not enough heat. My tomatoes would have actually had some fruit but the 100 % humidity day killed them dead. I could have sat down and cried when I discovered them.
I still haven't got my garlic planted but will get that done in the next couple of days. I actually think the weather will hold out to get it done. I also want to clean up and cut back some of my flower beds. Then I can maybe sit back and do very little.
