Herb Class

Recently I took a weekend herb class. It was in Mossyrock, Wa. It is something I have been wanting to do for many years.
Five of us gals (Our Chapter of The Women of the Dirt) took the class. We are all friends and enjoy each others company alot. We love Family, Farming ,Flowers  and Fun.
At the class we learned about 8 different wild herb plants that are beneficial to your health. They were Plantain, Cleavers, Self Heal, Stinging Nettles, Creeping Charlie ( not the one in hanging baskets ), Yarrow, Fireweed and Hawthorn. We gathered them and made tinctures from them. All of these plants are in our meadows and forests and are harmless. They have many healing qualities to them
Our teacher was Vanessa Nixon Klein and she has been teaching about Medicinal Herbs for many years. She was a great teacher and we enjoyed her and her farm very much.
